You are welcome here! Parents are invited to visit the school, but here are some things to keep in mind:
Building entry: All visitors must enter the school through the main entrance.
Visitor badges required: For the safety of all children, visitors - including parents - are required to stop at the office upon arrival to sign-in. Visitors will then be given a badge to wear. This is to let staff members see at a glance that you have checked in with the office.
Parents not wearing a badge will be sent back to the office to get one, so please don’t forget to pick one up after you sign-in! (And make sure to return to the office to sign out and return the badge before you leave.)
Any parent who refuses to sign in or to wear a badge will be removed from school property.
Meeting with a teacher: Parents wanting to meet with their child’s teacher must call the office (at the phone number linked above) and set an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This is a requirement written into the teacher’s contract that the administration is required to honor in good faith.
Class visits: Parents are welcome to come and watch their child’s class. Parents interested in this opportunity will need to contact the principal to make arrangements about observations.
